74th Independence Day Celebrations
The Flag Hoisting Ceremony on the occasion of 74th Independence Day took place at 8.00 AM on 15th August 2020 at the High Commission of India, Gaborone premises, as per local COVID-19 protocols. The Flag Hoisting Ceremony did not include any cultural programme.
Later during the day (at 5.00 PM), High Commission organized an Online Celebration with a Virtual Event on the occasion, showcasing the received from the Indian Diaspora in the form of Videos, Drawings and Essays received as part of the Competitions held by HCI Gaborone.
High Commission of India thanks all the participants in the events and contributors of the Videos, Drawings and Essays.
