80 th & 81 s t edition of Know India Programme (KIP)
The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India is holding the 80th
edition of the Know India Programme (KIP) from 29 December to 17 January 2025
and 81st edition from 2 January to 21 January 2025. KIP of this Ministry aims at
engaging with the young Indian Diaspora in the age-group of 21-35 years with the
objective to connect them with India. Ministry therefore strives to expose the youth
members of the Indian Diaspora to various aspects of contemporary Indian Art,
Heritage, Culture, Economy, Innovation, Science & Technology, etc., besides
endeavoring to motivate and inspire them to contribute and participate in the
transformative initiatives of the Government of India towards the establishment of
Viksit Bharat.
2. Since its inception in 2003-04, the Ministry has successfully organized 78
editions of the KIP with participation of about 2818 PIO youths and the 79th KIP is
scheduled to be organized from 24 November 2024 to 13 December 2024. The last
date for submission of application at the High Commission is 5th December 2024 for
80th edition and 9th December 2024 for 81st edition.
