Registration of Death
REGISTRATION OF DEATH
In case of death of an Indian national within Botswana, his/her death is to be Registered at HCI Gaborone. The High Commission then issues a Death Certificate.
Procedure for Registration of Death is:
Fill in Application for Death Certificate form (available at the end of this page)
Submit original Passport of the deceased for cancellation.
Submit Death Certificate issued by the local government authorities in original along with a copy of the same.
No fee is charged for issue of the Death Certificate.
For completion of the procedure by submission of documents, please visit HCI Gaborone between 9.00am and 12.00noon on High Commission's working days.
